Wheatridge Presbyterian Church (WPC) is searching for a dynamic outgoing interim pastor who is able to give thoughtful spiritual sermons based on scripture and relate them to daily challenges.

  • The candidate must be a leader with a sense of humor and vitality to connect with the congregation.
  • The candidate should be able to support and guide the children’s program, plus have innovative ideas for growing WPC’s congregational numbers in addition to targeting younger families.
  • The candidate should have sensitivity towards older members who are less mobile and not be afraid to bestow a personal touch on our church family.
  • In conclusion, the candidate must thrive on personal contact, is caring with a sense of humor and have a respect for tradition in our Sunday services.

A Kansas native, Pam moved to Denver after graduating from Kansas University with a B.S. in Journalism. She is married (for 30 years) with 2 daughters, a son, and a son-in-law. The Knepp family was transferred to West Virginia for 5 years, returning to Denver in 2003. Pam joined the staff of WPC in 2006 and is a life-long Methodist.

Organist & Hand Bell Choir Director - Julie Pulliam, M.A.

Member of the Presbyterian Church for over 35 years. Organist and Handbell Choir Director at Wheatridge Presbyterian Church for 28 years. Retired after teaching classroom and music for 25 years in the public schools. Education: B.S. Elementary Education, Bemidji State University, Bemidji, Minnesota; B.A. Organ Performance and Choral Education, Metropolitan State College, Denver Colorado; M.A. Regis University, Denver, Colorado. Married 46 years with three grown children, three grandchildren.
