Interim Pastor – Rev. Kimberly Graber
Rev. Graber comes to Wheatridge Presbyterian Church after completing an eight and one half year part time solo pastorate in Fairplay, Colorado. She will begin her interim pastorate at Wheatridge on October 3, 2010.
Rev. Graber brings many years experience as a Christian Education Director in two large churches in the suburbs of Denver and is currently chair person of the Partnership of the Zimbabwe and Denver Presbyteries committee which confirms her essential belief that “when Christ calls us to love our neighbor, I believe He is referring not only to the neighbor in our community, but also our neighbor across the ocean.”
Rev. Graber is married with two grown children and three grandchildren.
Academic credentials include an Associate of General Studies at Arapahoe Community College, a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies at Regis University and a Master of Divinity at Iliff School of Theology, all in Denver.
Director of Youth & Family Enrichment - Heather Aronson
Choir Director - Sharon Herzog, M.M.
Sharon Herzog directs the Chancel Choir at Wheatridge Presbyterian Church. She also helps with the children’s musical at Christmas and teaches the children to play Orff instruments.
Sharon has been working with church choirs for over 30 years. She has a Bachelor of Music degree in Music Education from Chapman University and a Master of Music Degree in Choral Music from Arizona State University. She just completed her level 1 Orff training at UNC in 2010 and is looking forward to level II next summer.
Sharon also teaches music in the Poudre School District in Fort Collins. She is responsible for the music program at three mountain schools and a 6-12 grade choir at Polaris Expeditionary Learning School.
Sharon and her husband Bob live in Fort Collins with their son Jason, two dogs, and two cats and numerous fish.
Administrative Assistant - Pam Knepp
A Kansas native, Pam moved to Denver after graduating from Kansas University with a B.S. in Journalism. She is married (for 30 years) with 2 daughters, a son, and a son-in-law. The Knepp family was transferred to West Virginia for 5 years, returning to Denver in 2003. Pam joined the staff of WPC in 2006 and is a life-long Methodist.
Church Treasurer - Eileen Gardner, C.P.A.
Organist & Hand Bell Choir Director - Julie Pulliam, M.A.
Member of the Presbyterian Church for over 35 years. Organist and Handbell Choir Director at Wheatridge Presbyterian Church for 28 years. Retired after teaching classroom and music for 25 years in the public schools. Education: B.S. Elementary Education, Bemidji State University, Bemidji, Minnesota; B.A. Organ Performance and Choral Education, Metropolitan State College, Denver Colorado; M.A. Regis University, Denver, Colorado. Married 46 years with three grown children, three grandchildren.
