Christian Education

The Christian Education Committee is an assembly of dedicated volunteers working together to nurture the spiritual needs of our children. Our goal is for them to flourish in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We assist the Director of Youth and Family Enrichment in planning events such as Vacation Bible School, tutoring and various mission projects. We collaborate in choosing curriculum and volunteer on Sunday mornings to work alongside the children during class.

Youth

Christian education for children includes:

Nursery available for children three and under.
Kid's Kingdom 10:30 to 11:30 am
- The first fifteen minutes is spent in Worship with the congregation. Children have an opportunity to participate in The Call to Worship, Hymns, and other aspects of Worship. There is a special Children's Moment where the scripture that the pastor is focusing on is shared with the children through a story. After the Children's Moment the children return to Kids' Kingdom where the Scripture Lesson is shared again. Games and crafts are enjoyed during our time together as another way to reinforce the Scripture Lesson.

Adult

The adult education class meets before worship services and provides a variety of programs presented by spiritual, educational and lay leaders.
