Sunday School

At Wheatridge Presbyterian Church, our focus is creating a fun and spiritual environment for children to learn and grow. We begin with story time and follow with an interactive event, such as an arts and crafts project, or a game which ties into the story. We integrate music, dance, and instruments into our program. The children perform for the congregation several times throughout the year.

The Christian Education and Missions Committees collaborate on projects that the children can take part, ranging from packing hygiene kits for disaster victims to contributing coins to support various mission causes. During free time the children are encouraged to participate in more arts and crafts, computer learning games, reading or building blocks.

We also offer a Nursery for children age three and under where they are given opportunities to interact with children their own age and are introduced to Bible stories and concepts.

Our children, through Christ, build lifelong friendships and thrive in the spirit of the Lord.
